This Christmas season, we’re launching something new, meaningful, and a little wild.
For years, our wildlife-based ministry has helped hurting kids find hope, healing, and purpose through encounters with God’s creation. Now, through our work with paternshp with my Gulf Great White Shark Society, we’re opening a fresh chapter—one that blends shark conservation, kid-focused outreach, and Christmas joy in a way we’ve never done before.
Introducing: A Great White Christmas
This year we’re creating 12 Great White Shark Conservation Education Gift Packages—one for each of the 12 Days of Christmas. These special kits will go to kids already in our Wild Wishes® program and also help us reach new children who could benefit from our support.
Each package will include interactive learning materials, shark-themed gifts, conservation-focused content, and faith-filled encouragement. The goal is to help kids understand the wonder and importance of great whites and other sharks while reminding them that they, too, are valued, strong, and full of purpose.

Kicking It Off: Our Great White Shark Christmas Tree at Shangri-La
To launch A Great White Christmas in a big way, we’ve placed a Great White Shark–themed Christmas tree at Shangri-La Botanical Gardens for their annual Christmas Walks.
Over 25,000 visitors are expected to pass by our tree this season. Alongside it, we’ve placed a sign featuring a QR code that visitors can scan to instantly watch our Great White Shark educational documentary.

This is an amazing opportunity not only to raise awareness about shark conservation, but also to introduce our mission—and the kids we serve—to thousands of people who may have never heard of Gulf Great White Sharks or our wildlife-based ministry.
Looking Ahead: Shark Expeditions in 2026
We’re also building toward something extraordinary—shark expeditions for kids in our Wishes program in 2026. These trips will offer life-changing experiences for children walking through trauma, grief, or overwhelming challenges.
Encountering one of God’s most astonishing creatures up close can shift a child’s mindset, restore courage, and unlock a sense of strength they didn’t know they had. These expeditions aren’t just adventures—they’re catalysts for healing.
Why This Matters
Every child we serve carries a story. Some are marked by loss, fear, or instability. But through wildlife, wonder, and the beauty of creation—from the mountains to the oceans—new stories are being written every day. Stories of bravery, curiosity, and hope.
A Great White Christmas is one more way we get to share that hope.
And we’re only just beginning.
