Dr. Guy Harvey Releases Documentary To Sold Out Crowd at Film Festival

World-renowned marine artist, scientist, conservationist, entrepreneur and educator Dr. Guy Harvey recently premiered his self-titled documentary to a sold-out audience during closing night of the 40th Annual Fort Lauderdale Film Festival in the IMAX theater at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale.

Prior to and following the documentary screening, guests enjoyed a celebration in the Museum’s courtyard with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and a meet-and-greet with Dr. Harvey. As always, Dr. Harvey took time for photos with guests and signed merchandise.

Filmed over the course of 18 months, the documentary explores Dr. Harvey’s evolution from artist to scientist, educator and conservationist and features dozens of interviews with close friends and colleagues. The film, directed by 24-time Emmy Award winner Nick Nanton and produced by Astonish Entertainment in association with DNA Films and Abundance Studios, will be screened at venues throughout the country before being released on streaming platforms.
